CRT touchscreen kiosks have been highlighted as the feedback solution of choice in a recent survey, conducted on 150 students, staff and visitors of the AskHU helpdesk.
The survey, carried out by University of Hull, aimed to investigate how they could engage with more students in their IT hubs in order to understand their service better. In addition to understanding the barriers to survey participation, the students were asked which system they would be most likely to leave feedback on. The result was a significant preference for the CRT touchscreen solutions.
Max Scales Graduate, Project Officer, Student Services Directorate, managed the survey and comments “We were interested in finding out how our service users wanted to feedback to us. We wanted to make the process as simple as possible in order to get the quantity of replies, but also enabling us to receive the quality of data that will give us real direction for service improvements. So we asked them. We showed them an image of the CRT Kiosk and the responses put this ahead of any other solution offered.”
CRT’s touchscreen solution offers in the moment opportunity to feedback views and opinions. In a matter of seconds students can provide feedback on their experience which can be collated in to management reports and dashboards to highlight areas of service excellence as well as areas for improvement. CRT’s unique Valid8™ data integrity software delivers accurate and validated results, protected from misuse such as nonsense replies.
