    Patient Experience Celebrated at PEN National Awards

    Many NHS trusts and health organisations gathered for the Patient Experience Network (PEN) National Awards in March 2019. The annual event celebrates the best in patient experience initiatives and both runner ups and winners deserve applause.

    This year’s categories included: ‘Communicating Effectively with Patients and Families’, ‘Measuring, Reporting & Acting and Staff Engagement’ and ‘Improving Staff Experience’. PEN work tirelessly to recognise the work of health trusts, boards and private organisations across the UK.

    Several ViewPoint customers took part, with Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation trust winning both the ‘Innovative Use of Technology, Social and Digital Media’ Award and the ‘Integration and Continuity of Care’ Award.

    Cardiff & Vale University Health Board won the ‘Turning it Around’ Award and were also runners up in several other categories.

    Well done also to Leicester University Hospitals, Ashford and St Peters Hospitals and NHS Wales for their entries, wins and accolades.

    We believe it’s important that we celebrate the work of individuals and teams who are in pursuit of excellence in our care systems. Well done to all!
